This Still Life features so many of my favorite things...an old iron cross I bought in Santa Fe...pushing up out of the ground is a lion's paw, also a very used and precious Bible, a vessel slightly cracked, fruit for the winepress and dogwoods...all sitting atop sackcloth...just because.
